Cardiff Metropolitan University Rises in The Times University Guide 2025 Rankings

AHZ's proud partner Cardiff Metropolitan University is celebrating a remarkable achievement in The Times & Sunday Times Good University Guide 2025. It has climbed 12 places to reach 66th. This success shows how hard the university has worked to improve student satisfaction and focus on being environmentally friendly.
This guide is truly helpful for students and their families, as it provides important information to help them choose the right university. It looks at various factors, including how students feel about their experience, the quality of teaching, and research efforts. This year, the guide also added a new section on sustainability and gave more weight to how well graduates do after leaving university.
Professor Rachael Langford, the President and Vice-Chancellor of Cardiff Met, shared her excitement about the university’s progress. She said, “It’s great to see Cardiff Met moving up in the rankings, especially since this guide really values our work on sustainability and making a positive impact on the environment.”
She also highlighted that Cardiff Met has been consistently ranked in the top 10 universities in the UK for sustainability, thanks to the university's commitment to the community and the environment. Professor Langford added, “We’re thrilled that our better National Student Survey scores are helping us rise in the rankings. It reflects how dedicated our staff are to giving students a great experience.”
